End of Summer
This design was inspired by the Brown-Eyed Susan’s in my mother’s garden. In late August, with stems curving deeply towards the earth, they bloomed for the final time. Bees continued to gather pollen into the golden evenings. The end of summer always gives me a wistful feeling. Cue That Summer Feeling by Jonathan Richman.
